Hot on the heels of IOI, his 2024 album, TWR72 delivers his debut EP for Hayes. “1N0V4T1V3” is a tough rhythm track that resounds to relentless percussion and chilling synth builds. On “7ECHN0L0G1”, he opts for a stripped back approach. The focus on tough kicks, a filtered groove – as well as its deft drops and builds – serve to set it apart from typical loop tracks. “F4SC1N4T1NG” follows a similar path, with the Dutch producer delivering a masterclass in dense techno. While vocal snippets feature on the title track, they are integrated into one of TWR72’s typically tough, club -primed rhythms.
